Arrival and Pickup

The Mt. Lebanon Municipality created safe zones around the perimeter of Hoover in order to provide efficient drop-off and pick-up of students while allowing maximum access to the building in the event of an emergency. Please review the following important information regarding Hoover’s GO ZONE.

 

General Traffic Flow

• Drive DOWN Robb Hollow – NO U-turns in the street, school entrance, or private driveways
• NO PARKING in the GO ZONE LANE (PM Kindergarten Drop Off 5 minute exception)
• NO DOUBLE PARKING/STOPPING on Robb Hollow

AM Drop Off

 

• Parking - Top/Bottom of Robb Hollow, Arrowood, Larchdale
• Drop & Go (do not exit your car in these areas) - Felser Way, GO ZONE LANE – NO PARKING – unattended vehicles will be ticketed
• ACCESS TO FELSER WAY IS NOW LIMITED TO BUSSES ONLY FROM 8:00-9:00AM

AM Kindergarten Pick Up

• GO ZONE LANE – Pull forward to crosswalk, fill in space behind car in front of you. DO NOT STOP AT THE STEPS – this will allow space for all parents along the curb.
• Teacher will bring kids down the steps to meet you on the sidewalk.
• If GO ZONE LANE is full you can park at the top or bottom of Robb Hollow

PM Kindergarten Drop Off

• Parking - Top of Robb Hollow, GO ZONE LANE (5 minute limit)
• Walk students up to black top playground and wait for Teacher to come get them

PM Pick Up

 

• Parking - Top/Bottom of Robb Hollow, Arrowood, Larchdale
• GO ZONE LANE
  • Pull forward to crosswalk and fill in space behind car in front of you DO NOT STOP AT THE STEPS
  • Pick up & Go / NO PARKING – unattended vehicles will be ticketed
  • Kids must enter vehicle from the curb – can not cross between cars into street
  • If the GO ZONE LANE is full, circle the block until a spot opens up OR meet your child at another location to let them into the vehicle safely. Take advantage of our ‘walking community’.
